What Makes Me Good at My Job: I like challenges and am unfazed by complicated ideas or difficult problems in need of a solution.
Interesting Fact About Me: I had the honor of being the University of Toledo’s Outstanding Young Alumni in 2007 and was inducted into the OSU College of Social Work Hall of Fame, Class of 2020.

What I Do Around Here: I help clients and our team think through the creation and implementation of meaningful research and evaluation plans with a heavy focus on data collection and analysis.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: I’m a social worker and a nerd. I want our work to contribute toward improvements in decision-making, projects, programs, and policies to better support our clients and the people they serve.
Interesting Fact About Me: I was born and raised in (New) Jersey. I am happy to call Columbus my new home and have gotten used to pumping my own gas, but there’s nothing quite like the Jersey shore or the food.

What I Do Around Here: I collaborate with clients and our Mighty Crow team to create and implement research and evaluation strategies that support community impact initiatives.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: As a social worker myself, I am inspired by the tireless work of our community partners. I find it incredibly meaningful to help tell their stories of social impact and transformation through research and evaluation. To do so, I draw on my 20+ years of social-justice-oriented advocacy and research work, including diverse teaching and cultural exchange experiences in China, Turkey, Moldova, and Uganda.
Interesting Fact About Me: I’m a toe - tapping, trumpet-playing, trampoline-bouncing, taco-loving coffee drinker. I do none of those things simultaneously.

What I Do Around Here: Finance, technology and strategy, both internally and for our clients
What Makes Me Good at My Job: With a 20+ year career as an accomplished IT professional, entrepreneur and volunteer, I bring a broad perspective that emphasizes possibility, connection and optimism. I enjoy management and operations, where I use my two degrees in Humanities and Business to balance efficient operations with a healthy respect for our communities and culture.
Interesting Fact About Me: My passions include the arts, the outdoors, and the core belief that non-profits should operate with an entrepreneurial spirit. When I’m not working, I’m usually playing guitar, watching sports, hanging with my kids, golfing, coaching, tinkering, cooking, or wrangling our wolf pack.

Year I Joined Mighty Crow: 2016
What I Do Around Here: I help clients track and visualize outcomes, spearhead evaluation projects, plan conferences, and provide long-term logistical and administrative support for clients as needed. I am also responsible for capacity management of the Mighty Crow team; tracking workload across team members and guaranteeing our deliverables are met.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: I have worked in human services administration and management for 15+ years, partnering with organizations of all sizes. I enjoy working on both small- and large-scale projects and building long-term relationships with clients.
Interesting Fact About Me: I always have mints to share. Some might call it a commitmint.

Role: Project Manager & Evaluator

What I Do Around Here: I help our partners with writing, training, project management, and evaluation.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: I am a pharmacist by trade and have years working in the community as both a pharmacist and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. I care passionately about providing care to underserved populations and spent most of my pharmacy career working for the HIV/Infectious disease clinic inside of Harborview Medical Center (this is Seattle’s County hospital). I am a people person and enjoy getting involved on challenging projects and helping out. I am good at organizing and have 10 years’ experience working as a research pharmacist for the NIH and Fred Hutchinson Institute. At the end of the day, I am a person in long term recovery and feel connected to all those who struggle with their mental health and substance use.
Interesting Fact About Me: I grew up in rural northeast Ohio (Berlin Center) but after graduating from the University of Toledo I moved to Seattle and lived there for 21 years.

What I Do Around Here: Project management and marketing-focused projects with Mighty Crow clients. I am also working on Mighty Crow's public facing messaging including web and social media.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: I have over 20 years of experience in marketing communications, including 15 years as the owner of an independent marketing consultancy.
Interesting Fact About Me: I started my professional career after college working in radio, and still dabble in voice over work periodically.

Role: Research and City Planning Associate
Year I Joined Mighty Crow: 2023
What I Do Around Here: I work with the other incredibly talented Mighty Crow team members to write grants and I utilize GIS to prepare maps for clients to be used in grant applications and programmatic evaluations.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: I recently graduated from the Ohio State University with a Master’s in City and Regional Planning which has taught me a lot about city planning theories and policies as well as how to be a GIS guru. I am also skilled at developing written narratives for grants and my writing style has been described as “sublime” by a certain Mother Crow; I love challenging myself to write creative and eloquent narratives that communicate important information in an engaging and intriguing way.
Interesting Fact About Me: I worked as a farmhand before I started graduate school where I learned how to operate large machinery like bulldozers and excavators. If you need any pesky buildings or highways removed in your area, give me a call!

What I Do Around Here: It’s a patchwork quilt of criminal justice subject matter expertise, grant writing, data analysis, program evaluation, and supporting people and organizations who serve some of our most resilient community members.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: I have worked in the justice space for 15+ years with experience in front line work, middle management, and upper leadership in nonprofits and local government. As a social worker, I love a good problem to solve and a complex system to unwind. Combine all of that together and I bring a multi-faceted perspective to any task.
Interesting Fact About Me: Growing up my hero was Chester Hazen; he started the first cheese factory in Wisconsin. Many thought he was absurd because the area was primarily known for wheat farming. But Packers fans aren’t called Wheatheads, are they?

What I Do Around Here: I help design the user experience and interface of the Recovery Housing Operator and Affiliate Data System our team is developing for Ohio Recovery Housing. I also provide my teammates with publication and information design support for client deliverables.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: I am eager to learn and improve my skills, and I thoroughly enjoy iterating towards the best solution to any kind of design problem
Interesting Fact About Me: I can roll my tongue into the shape of a Tostito scoop.

What I Do Around Here: Utilizing a background in business and product analytics, I help to leverage advanced statistical analysis and modeling techniques to expedite evaluation processes and improve upon program practices.
What Makes Me Good at My Job: With an academic background in pure mathematics and data science, I possess a strong understanding and appreciation of the hidden connections that drive everyday activities and processes. I take pleasure in unravelling these puzzles and using them to develop fresh approaches and models to enhance current systems.
Interesting Fact About Me: Before my career in data science, my plan was to pursue environmental science. With this goal in mind, I worked for a period as a wild land firefighter in the Pacific Northwest, where I focused on suppressing wildfires on the JBLM wildland and worked alongside a team of biologists in prairie restoration efforts. This was some hard, fun work!

What Makes Me Good at My Job: I am passionate about social change, a problem solver, and an idea person. I am currently a PhD student at the Ohio State University College of Social Work where I am honing my research skills and fostering my love of learning.
Interesting Fact About Me: When I am not diving into data or literature, I enjoy spending time with my family, yoga, hiking, running and making art.
