Project: Franklin County Municipal Court Self Help Center: An Evaluation of the Social Work Program

Client: Franklin County Municipal Court

Timeframe: 2024

Project Description: The Self-Help Resource Center, housed within Franklin County Municipal Court, received grant funding from the State Justice Institute (SJI) in 2020 to staff a social worker to assist court attendees requiring additional resources to fully engage with the justice system. Primarily a resource for those facing eviction, the program offered a drop-in center connecting clients with social services. Following completion of this initial grant-funded program, Mighty Crow has been tapped to conduct an evaluation of these services measuring impact and efficacy. The resulting report will make recommendations on how to improve future iterations of the program.
