Recent Projects
Conferences
MCM provides project management services for local, state and national conferences. The team at MCM works with the conference planning committee on developing a task timeline, securing continuing education units, developing an agenda, building a conference website, ensuring that speaker presentations are received, and working with the selected facility on menus, media, and other logistics. MCM provides on-site support for the day of the conference and also conducts a conference evaluation. MCM has worked with Ohio Recovery Housing, The Ohio Stepping Up Initiative, The Treatment Advocacy Center’s Assisted Outpatient Treatment Initiative, Disability Rights Ohio, and the Southeast Ohio Regional Training Center.
Educational Materials
MCM has worked with organizations to develop materials for client education in individual and group settings. We conduct a literature review on the topic at hand, scan the registry of evidence-based practices, and stay apprised of key issues that impact clients in behavioral health settings. Dr. Hammond has developed materials on Relationships and Emotional Baggage, has curated materials for an extensive course on Relapse Prevention, the Progression of the Disease, and Defense Mechanisms. She has authored online courses focused on group counseling for substance use disorder, and has authored a certification course on quality treatment opioid use disorder. The MCM team has co-authored education on tobacco dependence treatment, motivational interviewing, and many other topics.
Implementation
MCM has collaborated with organizations to implement projects from the infancy to their maturity. We work with key staff on the program design, staffing plan, development of workflow documents, facilitation of planning and implementation meetings, and have provided on-site management services. Some projects have been tied to federal funding, with strict requirements for deliverables, fiscal oversight, and evaluation. Our team is capable of managing these competing priorities and assisting organizations with a successful project launch, implementation, and conclusion.
